Private sector leaders will join STEMconnector at a Global STEM Talent Summit on April 28th, 2016 in Washington DC to address the STEM talent gap that exists in the US and other parts of the world from an industry perspective. The Summit will highlight the industry perspective of mastering the challenge of the STEM talent shortfall and aims to offer in-depth discussions on the future STEM capabilities that the next generation of STEM talent will need for success in STEM jobs and careers.
Over the past decade, growth in STEM jobs was three times greater than that of non-skilled jobs, according to the Texas State University. Together with its 25 strategic partners, STEMconnector will outline a three-year strategic roadmap to diminish the STEM gap in the US.
For individuals unable to join in-person, a live steam of the event will be available for remote viewing. For more information visit http://globalsummit.stemconnector.org/.
