The Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School (OLMC) All Stars Afterschool Program in Asbury Park needs to raise significant funds to support programming for the upcoming school year. It is critical to the safety and wellbeing of 150 children that the program remains open to keep them in a caring and constructive environment after school while parents are working.
Since a federal grant for the program was not renewed last year, changes were made to accommodate the loss of funding without compromising quality. Despite these changes and the support of in-kind programming from collaborators, the program needs additional funds to sustain itself. Friendship Train Foundation operates the program and covers all administrative costs so your dollars go directly to programming.
With your help, we can continue to provide children of Asbury Park with after school learning opportunities that they would otherwise not have access to. Four days a week, they receive a healthy snack and homework help in addition to high-quality STEAM (STEM + Arts) enrichment activities including yoga, cooking, robotics, gardening, guitar and more.
